Simon Greenough

Hants West

Simon Greenough is a chemist and bartender who was born and raised in Hants County.Growing up on his family's dairy farm, Simon was heavily involved in the local 4-H program, and he's now returning to be a project leader in his local club. He believes in the promotion of sustainability in agriculture and rural life, and in the program's ability to develop young leaders. Simon believes that decisions about the future should be made with young people, not for them.

Simon graduated from UNB in 2017 with a BSc in Biology. Since then he has worn many hats professionally, including working with people to reduce their residential energy consumption. Simon now works as a chemist and team lead for a drug manufacturing company, and he serves and bartends on the side. Simon is one of many Nova Scotians working multiple jobs to try to get ahead, and he wants to work for you to address the challenges of affordability in our communities.

Simon understands the issues facing young people in rural communities, and wants to create a sustainable future for all Nova Scotians to thrive in.
